Costa Rica Fishing August 2012 Costa Rica Fishing Reports With the start of August Quepos fishing charters has lots of Tuna showing up now. Some Yellowfin Tuna over 100 pounds. Boats are averaging 3-5 Sailfish per charter making it a great time to fish. Still schools of Dorado in the trash lines. With the rain not a factor during most days the offshore bite is very steady. Costa Rica inshore fishing still is going strong with great Rooster fishing going on inshore and plenty of costa Rica Red Snapper being caught daily. Fish Costa Rica in july and you have a great chanseof catching nise size Wahoo. Fishing numbers are still looking good. Some early morning rains not really a problem as the fleet pushes thru to blue sky fishing. Afternoon rains around 4 pm on the way in is not really a big deal little refreshing, remember you are in Costa Rica.
